Today it is one of the world's top 100 industrial corporations and a leader in the development and production of engineered materials. Established in France in 1665 as a glass maker, Saint-Gobain continues through arduous research to develop new and innovative materials. Saint-Gobain is amongst the global leaders in each of its businesses - construction products, building distribution, packaging and innovative materials - including high-performance seals. Our spacious Garden Grove, California headquarters houses...
Open the catalog to page 2Fluoroelastomer Seals OmniFlex™ is a new proprietary fluoroelastomer seal material developed by Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. OmniFlex™ has outstanding low temperature performance at -70F (-57C), which outperforms most other elastomers, with a maximum temperature of 424°F (218°C). This low temperature material is nearly equivalent in performance to perfluoroelastomers in chemical resistance, with improved compression set and softer durometer. OmniFlex™ has an unlimited shelf life, which prevents discarding unused seals due to age. OmniFlex™ is an excellent choice for low friction...

Open the catalog to page 4High performance at low temperatures makes OmniFlex™ an ideal choice for aerospace applications. OmniFlex™ products are also capable of withstanding harsh media including synthetic hydraulic fluids (e.g. Skydrol®),jet fuels and lubricating oils. These capabilities, along with its wide durometer range (50-80 Shore A), significantly enhance durability and longevity of OmniFlex™ seals while maintaining simplicity and ease of installation. > Greater low temperature performance -70°F (-57°C) than > Excellent chemical resistance reduces inventory stock > Chemical compatibility with Skydrol® >...
Open the catalog to page 5OmniFlex™ products meet the critical requirements necessary for use in various industrial applications, including the ability to withstand high pressures, deliver high reliability at low temperatures, and tolerate corrosive chemicals (e.g. H2S) and other aggressive media. Most materials break down under such conditions, making OmniFlex™ seals an ideal solution for the most demanding applications. > Excellent chemical resistance reduces inventory stock > Chemical compatibility with H2S > Outstanding wear properties for chemically resistant elastomers > Greater low temperature performance...
Open the catalog to page 6The chemical resistance of OmniFlex™ makes it an ideal solution for medical applications. OmniFlex™ has versions that have durometers as soft as 50 Shore A. This low durometer allows the user to easily bend and manipulate the material for easy installation. The softer durometer is also less abrasive on hardware. Flexible processability of OmniFlex™ gives Saint-Gobain the ability to produce these seals in custom shapes (as small as Vs" OD). Difficult applications that require chemical resistance, low temperatures and special shapes may be easily solved by OmniFlex™. > Superior compression...
Open the catalog to page 7Most semiconductor applications involve harsh media and conditions that are difficult for most seals. OmniFlex™ has excellent chemical resistance and can perform optimally at high pressures and low temperatures. OmniFlex™ can be custom made in various shapes and sizes. All of these capabilities are available at a lower price than perfluoroelastomers. > Excellent chemical resistance reduces inventory stock > Superior compression set (11%) compared to > Outstanding wear properties for chemically resistant elastomers > Greater low temperature performance -70°F (-57°C) than > Custom shapes and...
Open the catalog to page 8Due to its ability to handle aggressive chemicals, OmniFlex™ is a good fit for most instrumentation applications. The custom shape capability of OmniFlex™ has led to success in a wide range of chromatography, chemical analysis, and other analytical equipment that requires durability, precision and reliability. OmniFlex's low compression set is critical to reliable performance at high pressures and low temperatures. > Excellent chemical resistance reduces inventory stock > Superior compression set (11%) compared to > Greater low temperature performance -70°F (-57°C) than > Custom shapes and...
