
The GM5A series includes four motor variants with displacements of 1000, 1300, 1600, and 2000 cm³/rev. Key dimensional and performance parameters are as follows:
The continuous or average working pressure should be selected based on the desired service lifetime, particularly bearing life. The maximum casing pressure is limited to 5 bar.
Peak and continuous pressures and speeds are specified to optimize motor performance and durability. For example, the 1000 cm³ motor can operate continuously at 250 bar and 300 rpm, with a peak pressure of 425 bar and max speed of 450 rpm.
The motor uses standard bearings whose average lifetime (B10 life) is a critical factor in motor service life. The B10 lifetime is approximately five times the basic bearing life (B lifetime).
A graph (not included here) relates bearing lifetime in hours to operating shaft speed (rpm) and pressure (bar). Higher pressures and speeds reduce bearing life, so operating conditions must be chosen accordingly.
This data supports selection and operation of GM5A series hydraulic motors for applications requiring reliable torque and power within specified pressure and speed limits, with attention to bearing life for maintenance planning.
