SagiCofim. How we succeeded anticipating the future for more than 50 years. While designing and constructing installations for hospital facilities, from the simplest wards to the most challenging critical areas destined to immunosuppressed people, severe burn victims, infectious patients or operating rooms, patients’ health and staff safety must be a priority. The development of our first system for operating rooms was completed in 1989; the conception of this system for the diffusion of sterile air into the rooms was born from the deep knowledge of the danger of nosocomial infections acquired...

Passion. That’s it. The hospital. The place where we were born. Where our children were or will be born. Unfortunately, however, this place does not always evoke pleasant memories. We have all had a relative or a close friend who was hospitalized perhaps for a surgical operation. We do not create miraculous medicines or produce innovative instruments for advanced diagnostics. However, we have imagined ourselves in the shoes of the most vulnerable patients who unfortunately must enter one of the most critical areas of a hospital: the operating room. When it happens, we try to be close to our beloved...

Expertise. Something real. From a design point of view, at first glance an operating room may seem an area that shall generically respect some constraints related to sterility. This single room can, however, be ideally divided into several zones, each with its own characteristics and specificities. We focused our attention on the differences characterising each zone, being well aware that environments with different characteristics have different problems, which, in their turn, require different solutions. Zone 1: it is the area containing the operating table, the surgical instrument trolley...

Reliability. In total safety. We are proud of having transformed a dream into an idea, and then this idea into a real “Made in Italy” solution. In addition to constantly monitoring every step of the process, we are able to achieve the highest quality standards and to pursue a continuous improvement thanks to the constant synergic work between the Research & Development centre and the production and testing department.
