General features of our doors All our doors are produced directly at our Cusano Milanino (Milan) facilities. The manufacturing process is organized like a real assembly line that starts with the uncoiling of sheet metal coils and ends with the final packaging. In addition to the unique characteristics of the production system, the doors themselves are designed to provide a series of benefits to customers who decide to purchase a Sacil Hlb product. Here are some examples: • gauged polystyrene insulation • 7/10” thick embossed sheet metal • cast aluminium hinges with Ø 25 mm pin and...

Thermal transmittance in accordance with EN 10077 : 2003 and EN 10077-2 : 2005 • Complete gate door type 2+2 panel 52 mm. L x H 6000 x 6500 The door achieves thermal transmittance, calculated in accordance with EN 10077-2:2005 with calculation relation no. 103/08, equal to: Ud = 1.78 W/m°K . Thermal conductivity of the insulating panel alone equal to λd: 0.0813 W/m°K. • Single leaf 52 mm. L x H 1500 x 6500. for a high level of thermal insulation 1 Milled and gauged insulating material, before glue spreading. 2 Note the difference between “glued” panel A, just out of the press, and foamed panels B and C. The sheet metal is very hard to detach from panel A glued; the glue is evenly spread and covers the entire surface. From foamed panel B the sheet metal is easy to detach and most of the metal face is still visible and not bound to the insulating foam. 3 Automated spreading of the single component glue. Few manufacturers use this most advanced solution, as it is definitely more expensive than...

As to the passage of air and light, nothing is impossible: the insulated gate doors made of sturdy polystyrene insulated panels can be processed and carved to allow the insertion of ventilation grids and windows according to a wide variety of aesthetic and functional needs. Thanks to the rigidity of the panels, the leaves can be transported with the grids and windows already pre-assembled during the manufacturing process! Our wide choice of standard grids and windows is listed below; special versions are available on request.

PG PL PS PB US Pedestrian passage with step A courtesy pedestrian passage with step can always be built in a Sacil Hlb insulated gate door. Because of the step, these doors are not recommended as safety exits, but in some cases they can be accepted. The are best used as courtesy access to the building, to avoid opening the gate door. The width is the same as the panels that compose the gate door, less 20 cm for the perimeter frame. The standard supply includes handle and lock, AISI 304 stainless steel drip and kick plate, and black aluminium perimeter profiles. The door swings around...

Split panel Unlike sectional doors, folding doors can include a dedicated emergency exit door. This is to be considered as remedial solution for cases where an exit needs to be created in a building under renovation and/or upgrading, but the conditions of the walls do not allow the installation of safety exit doors elsewhere. A pedestrian passage without step is commonly called “split panel”, because the panel is spit into two sections so that the lower section can be opened toward the outside. The solution can be adopted in all door types consisting of 1, 2, or 4 panels per door if...
