Specifications: The Series 6000V Variable Speed Booster Controller is housed in a NEMA Type1 enclosure with a NEMA Type4 interface and includes a main disconnect. It features virtual Hand-Off-Auto control switches on the display panel for
pump motor control. The control transformer is fused, and motor drives are externally protected. The ambient environmental ratings are 32°F to 140°F (0°C to 60°C) for temperature and 5% to 95% non-condensing for humidity.
Interface and Accessibility: The controller includes a 3.5" by 4.5" LCD touch screen for graphical display of pump status. System parameters, alarm settings, and resets can be accessed without opening the control panel or using additional tools. Motor voltage, current, and rpm are displayed externally.
Control Capabilities: Capable of controlling up to 4 pumps using a 0-10 mV analog signal with pressure as the control variable. Pumps are sequenced by a best operating point algorithm.
Drive Features: The variable speed drives include a detachable operator panel, screwless control terminals, IGBT technology, digital microprocessor control, and various protective features such as overvoltage/undervoltage protection, inverter over-temperature protection, and more.
Software and Compliance: Software is stored in EPROM, with factory settings restorable via a reset button. The system is listed and labeled by CSA and UL.
Additional Features: The controller offers a watertight touch-screen interface, password-protected system parameters, and field-adjustable on-screen display of pump system parameters. It includes features like Best-Operating-Point Sequencing, end-of-curve pump protection, on-screen alarm display, audible alarms, non-volatile memory, and more.
