USER REPORT -Tipolitografia Botalla SRL fi USER REPORT© Tipolitografia Botalla SRLhttps://la-tipografia.it/Tipografia-tipolitografia-botalla-s-r-l/ Via Fratelli Cairoli 140 -13894 Gaglianico Italy a Purchase of new Al-plus size model targets growing demand for light-package printing Tipolitografia Botalla SRL is a printing company located in the city of Biella in northern Italy. Established in 1948, they have earned a strong following offaithful customers, both companies and consumers, by providing high-quality printing and advanced printing services. Currently run jointly by third generation co-owners Mr. Paolo Botalla and Mr. Massimo Botalla,Tipolitografia Botalla has an integrated production system from pre-press through to printing and post-press processes, enabling the company to quickly respond to customer requests. Their main business is printing multi-page bound documents such as catalogs and pamphlets, as well as flyers and other general commercial printing. To further enhance their brand and achieve further growth, in October 2024 they purchased an RMGT 970ST-5 model A1-plus size 5-color press. They had been using multiple RYOBI and Mitsubishi brand presses for many years, and based on their success with those presses, for their next press they decided on an RMGT brand press that combines the development concepts of both companies. Their long-standing partnership with WGM, RMGT's Italian distributor, also played a key role in their decision to purchase an RMGT 970 press. The 970ST-5 model that they chose is equipped with skeleton transfer cylinders for sheet transfer. They cited the following reasons for selecting the 970ST-5 model with skeleton transfer cylinders suitable for printing on heavy stock: 1) Handles A1-plus size sheets and has superior cost performance. 2) Capableofhigh-qualityprinting to meet the growing demand for printing on heavy stock up to 0.8 mm. 3) Automation functions significantly increase productivity, including shorter makereadytimes. The 970ST-5 is also equipped with two LED-UV curing units on the delivery section. A decision they made based on their assessment of the advantages of instant drying with LED-UV is for consistently reliable, stress-free printing even of complex images with many solid colors. They have been pleasantly surprised by the outstanding results of 970 model. Compared with their existing B2-size UV press, makeready time per job has been reduced by about 40% and electricity costs have been reduced by more than 50%. The LED-UV curing units have also demonstrated excellent drying performance even for high-value-added work using special colors. As anticipated, there has been a steady increase in demand for light-package printing work, such as short-run box and card printing, and Tipolitografia Botalla says their decision to purchase the 970ST-5 model is getting the hoped-for results. The 970ST-5 has proven to be a great help in enabling Tipolitografia Botalla to fulfill their commitment to provide the best printing services to their customers. With the increase in internet advertising, clients are aiming for even higher added value in print media advertising to differentiate themselves from the competition. From that viewpoint, they are anticipating a further increase in demand for printing on heavy stock. They see great potential in the 970ST-5, which can readily respond to the growth in the light package printing segment.
