The RUNI screw compactor is designed to address the waste problem associated with PET-bottles, commonly used for soft drinks and juices. It effectively destroys products to prevent resale and reduces volume for easier handling and transport. Compacted bottles can often be sold for recycling.
The compactor continuously compacts and separates bottles, pressing contents into a tank or drain without mess. It features sensors for automatic operation and can be fed manually, by conveyor belt, or tip container. Compacted bottles are directly deposited into a container.

With the wide distribution of these drinks a large waste problem follows. For breweries the main problem is that they often have large volumes of discharged products that need to be destroyed to elimiate risks of being resold again.
