Description

The RUNI SK370 screw compactor is designed for compacting EPE, a packaging material used for sensitive products. It can compact EPE into cylinder-shaped blocks with a density of up to 500 kg/m³. Smaller EPE pieces may not require a pre-cutter. The compacted EPE can be sold for recycling, turning waste into value.

Function

The EPE is fed into a pre-cutter, cut into smaller pieces, and then compacted by a screw and hydraulic jaws into uniform blocks. Sensors ensure easy operation with automatic start and stop functions. For EPE with small cell structures that re-expand, compacting into endless plastic bags is recommended.

Compacting EPE Description EPE (expanded polyethylen) known as packaging material for sensitive products such as glass and electronics. With RUNI SK370 screw compactor and a special developed pre-cutter, EPE can be compacted into a cylinder shaped block with a density of up to 500 kg/m³.
