Product Overview
The Minibrass LF106 is a direct-acting pressure reducing valve designed for water and air applications. It features a piston operating mechanism and is made from lead-free brass alloy (CW510L – Pb 0.20%). The valve is patent pending and offers a maximum inlet pressure of 16 bar with an outlet pressure range of 1 to 4 bar, factory set at 3 bar. It can withstand a maximum working temperature of 80°C and includes NBR rubber parts. The valve is available in sizes ranging from 3/8” (DN10) to 3/4” (DN20) and has a pressure gauge connection of ¼”.

Installation Guidelines
The Minibrass pressure reducers can be installed in any position as they are not affected by gravity. It is recommended to install a self-cleaning filter upstream to protect the valve from dirty water. In systems with hot water devices or exposed to temperature changes, an expansion vessel should be installed downstream to prevent pressure increases. A Stopshock valve is also recommended to prevent water hammer damage.

Adjustment and Testing
All pressure reducers are tested and set to 3 bars before packaging. The outlet pressure can be adjusted on-site by removing the black plastic cover cap and turning the spring holder. Clockwise increases pressure, counter-clockwise decreases it. Adjustments should be made with the plant outlet closed.
