Effective Clamping Range: The clamp should not exceed the 'A' diameter when expanded and should not pass over the 'D' diameter when relaxed. When assembled on 'A', 'B', or 'C' diameters, a wire of 'X' diameter should not fit between the gage and clamp parallel to the gage axis.

Finish: The clamps are finished with a Peen-Plate Zinc coating, a non-electrolytic process with a minimum thickness of 0.0002 inches, followed by a dichromate treatment. Color codes are provided for identification.

Material: Made from SAE 1060-1075, material code ST, using specially processed premium grade spring wire that is hardened and austempered to meet performance requirements.

Design: The single wire, self-compensating hose clamp design offers effective holding force and clamping strength by concentrating the force in a specific area around the hose.
