Rotolok Iris Valve UK V6.1

Product catalog summary

Introduction
The Iris Valve is a reliable and simple solution for isolation or variable feed control in powder or air handling industries. Its main advantage is its simplicity. Rotolok offers two types of Iris Valves: Rotoflex and Slimflex.

Manual Rotoflex Iris Valve
The Rotoflex is constructed from cast aluminium or zinc, providing rigidity and stability. It is suitable for fine powders in open discharge systems and can be manually or pneumatically actuated. The sleeve options include Nylon, rubber, anti-static, or flameproof materials. It is particularly useful for filling applications and can be re-tensioned in place.

Pneumatic Rotoflex Iris Valve
This version includes specific dimensions for various sizes, ensuring compatibility with different systems. It is designed for high-duty applications and offers flexibility in installation.

Double Sleeve Option
The double sleeve option enhances load capacity and sealing, making it dust-tight and valuable for precise powder flow control.

Installation
Proper installation requires a flat and true mating flange to avoid stress and warping. Flange fixings should not protrude into the handle movement area. A false sleeve can be used to protect the main sleeve if wear is a concern.

Slimflex Iris Valve
The Slimflex is a cost-effective alternative designed for the IBC market. Made from stainless steel laser-cut rings, it offers robustness with lower duty. It accommodates various sizes and includes steel hoops for sleeve retention.

Other Rotolok Products
Rotolok also manufactures a range of products for bulk handling systems, including Rotary Valves, Hygienic Rotary Kleanloks, Gravity Diverters, and bespoke solutions. For more information, visit their website or contact their sales team.
