Isolation of Digoxin from a Natural Extract CoI: Digoxin Goal: Isolation Concentration [mg/ml] Digoxin is a secondary cardiotonic glycoside isolated from the fermented foliage of foxglove (Digitalis lanata). High-value bioactive compounds are usually surrounded by compounds of similar structure. These are often difficult to be isolated in their pure forms.
