ROMI VT 5000 and VT 6000 lathes are equipped with 8-jaw independent chuck made of cast iron. Chuck is directly coupled to the headstock transmission system thru high precision gear. The gear is designed according to DIN 3990, dimensioned to support efforts under severe machining conditions.
