Superior immunity to reflections Due to multipath propagation (especially in metropolitan areas), not only the direct wave but also reflections arrive at the DF antenna. The R&S®ADDx multichannel DF antennas offer (due to their design) a higher immunity to such reflections than most other commercially available antennas, since they feature an exceptionally large number of antenna elements. Virtually all R&S®ADDx DF antennas comprise nine antenna elements for the HF/VHF/UHF range, and eight for the UHF range. Commercially available DF antennas typically have only five.
