Live centres with a profiled, extended center point are designed for counter-clamping workpieces on turning and grinding machines. They are particularly suitable for use in cramped work areas between the centre point and workpiece, as well as for low-lying workpiece centres.
This is an all-round live centre featuring a profiled centre point.
- Enlarged work area and improved workpiece accessibility due to the profiled centre point.
- High concentricity and stability provided by a 3-fold bearing system.
- Maximum concentricity deviation of 0.005 mm ensures high precision.
- The body is hardened and ground.
- Tip angle is 60°.
