Product catalog summary
Overview of Stainless Steel Single Wall SP Series
The SP series is designed for high-temperature heating systems like fireplaces and wood-burning stoves. It offers high mechanical resistance and easy installation, suitable for building renovations and old flue adaptations. It can handle exhaust vapors and is compatible with the DP double wall series for sub-horizontal connections.
Specifications
The SP2 series consists of circular modular elements made from AISI 316L stainless steel, available in thicknesses of 0.6, 0.8, or 1 mm, with a glossy finish. Elements are seam welded using laser or TIG methods. The series features a fast coupling system with optional external joint clamps and silicone gaskets for enhanced stability and pressure tightness. Insulating cupels are recommended for improved performance.
Operating Conditions
  • Negative pressure (N1) without gasket: Continuous operation up to 600°C for flue pipes and 250°C for chimney systems.
  • Positive pressure (P1) with silicone gasket: Continuous operation up to 200°C.
Admitted fuels include gas, liquid, and solid fuels for dry/wet and dry operations, respectively.
Installation Guidelines
Installation begins with securing the first support to the floor or wall. For wall installations, components include a condensate collector, inspection element, chimney support, and tee piece for flue pipe connection. Elements use a tongue and groove joint system and can be locked with joint clamps. A minimum slope of 3% is required for condensation heat generators to prevent stagnation.
Collective Flue Requirements
  • Compliance with UNI 10641 and UNI 7129-3 standards.
  • Connection to one boiler per storey, with a maximum of 8 boilers if a compensation duct is present, or 6 without.
  • Vertical course with no narrowing and limited direction changes.
  • Minimum height of 2 m from the last boiler's exhaust to the outlet.
Boilers must be similar in type, fuel, and combustion conditions.
Maintenance
Regular inspections include visual checks, joint integrity, and cleaning with non-abrasive materials. Acid condensate and rainwater should be drained appropriately, and solid obstructions removed through inspection openings.
Technical Specifications
The document details the specifications for a chimney system made of AISI 316L stainless steel. It includes single wall circular modular elements with a glossy finish and longitudinal seam welding. The system features a fast coupling system with a tongue and groove joint, and a triple lip silicone gasket is available on request for positive pressure applications. Available diameters range from 180 mm to 400 mm, with wall thicknesses specified in a table.
Applications
The chimney system is suitable for fumes discharge under negative pressure (N1) without a silicone gasket, or under positive pressure (P1) with a gasket. It can handle fumes from condensation boilers when gaskets are used. The system is certified for use with gas, liquid, and solid fuels.
Pressure and Temperature Ratings
For negative pressure (N1), the maximum operating temperature is 600°C. For positive pressure (P1), the maximum temperature is 200°C.
Certifications
The system is certified under CE, TÜV, and VKF-AEAI standards, with specific certifications for different components and configurations.
Components and Configurations
The document lists various components such as straight elements, adjustable elements, and bends with different angles (30°, 45°, 90°). Each component is described with its specific use case, such as connection elements between flue pipes and the main chimney system. The components are available in various diameters, and the complete code for each item is obtained by adding the chosen diameter to the base code.
Installation and Usage Notes
Installation requires the male socket to be oriented downwards to prevent condensate discharge. The silicone gasket is applied differently based on the diameter, with specific instructions for diameters up to 200 mm and those larger than 200 mm. The document also provides guidelines for using the system under different pressure conditions and temperatures, emphasizing the removal of the silicone gasket if the temperature exceeds 200°C.
Additional Features
The document includes details on adjustable bends, inspection plugs, and temperature and fumes detection elements. These components are designed for specific pressure and temperature conditions, with detailed dimensions and installation instructions provided.
Specifications
The document outlines various components and specifications for flue systems made from AISI 316L and AISI 304 stainless steel. It includes details on diameters ranging from 150 mm to 400 mm, wall thickness, and specific product codes that are completed by adding the chosen diameter.
Procedures
Each component, such as flashing for roofs, gaskets, and bends, has a specific installation procedure. For example, the flashing ensures rainwater tightness and is supplied with a storm collar. Gaskets are applied to either the inner or outer walls of sockets, depending on the series, and are suitable for positive pressure up to 200°C.
Standards and Certifications
The products comply with CE certifications and are designated under EN 1856-2 standards for flue liners and connecting pipes. They are suitable for negative pressure applications up to 600°C and are certified for use with solid fuels.
Recommendations
For high-temperature sealing, surfaces must be clean and dry before applying the silicone sealant, which withstands temperatures up to 350°C. The document also advises on the correct orientation of components to prevent condensate discharge.
Key Data from Tables
The tables provide detailed dimensions for various components, such as the lengths of straight elements, adjustable elements, and the dimensions of bends at different angles (90°, 45°, 30°). Each component's complete code is formed by adding the diameter to the base code.
Critical Information
Ensure proper installation orientation to avoid leaks and maintain system integrity. The document emphasizes the importance of using the correct gaskets and sealants for specific applications to ensure safety and performance.

SP SERIES-1
