Caratteristiche costruttive I diffusori RBI sono costruiti in acciaio verniciato a polvere in colore standard RAL 9010. Le grandezze disponibili sono 7. Vengono collegati al sistema di canaliz-zazione dell'aria con connessioni circolari di diametro standard, con guarnizione di tenuta in gomma. Application The RBI Winter/Summer diffuser is designed to supply air into industrial premises, stores warehouse and sport halls with very high ceilings. Design The RBI diffusers are made from steel which is powder coated with standard colour RAL 9010, available in 7 sizes. The connections to the air duct system are round and of standard size, with rubber seals. Prestazioni Gli elementi principali che costituiscono il diffusore sono due cilindri, posti uno dentro l'altro, con aperture sulla superficie inferiore e a lato. La posizione delle aperture permette due mo-dalita operative principali: in un caso le aperture inferiori sono aperte mentre quelle laterali sono chiuse; nel secondo caso, al contrario, le aperture laterali sono aperte, mentre quelle inferiori sono chiuse. La distribuzione dell'aria tra la parte inferiore e quella laterale puo essere regolata continuamente facendo ruotare il cilindro interno coassiale a quello esterno. Se il diffusore e posizionato vicino al soffitto, con asse verticale, il flusso dell'aria dal basso (verticale) e ideale nel periodo di ri-scaldamento invernale, mentre quello laterale (orizzontale) puo essere sfruttato durante il raffrescamento estivo, senza che la corrente d'aria investa direttamente l'area occupata. Le perdite di carico del diffusore non variano durante le opera-zioni di apertura e chiusura delle aperture. Questo permette di modificare i flussi d'aria senza dover variare le portate. II diffusore RBI non ha serrande, quindi la portata d’aria puo essere modificata tramite un regolatore di portata posto sull' impianto di canalizzazione dell'aria. Su richiesta, il diffusore puo essere fornito con lamiera forata equalizzatrice interna. Operation The major elements of the unit are the two cylinders placed one inside the other, with openings in the bottom and sides. The position of the openings ensures two basic operating modes. In one case, the bottom openings remain open and the side openings remain closed. Conversely, in the second case, the side openings remain open and the bottom ones remain closed. The distribution of air between the bottom and side openings can be adjusted continuously by rotating the internal coaxial cylinder with the outer one. If the diffuser is placed close to the ceiling with vertical axis, the flow of air from the bottom is perfect for winter heating, while the flow from the sides can be used for summer cooling without the current of air blowing directly on the occupied area. The internal pressure drop pratically does not change during the opening and closing of the openings. This means that you can change the air flows without having to adjust the air flow volumes. The RBI diffuser has no damper, so the air volume can be adjusted with volume control units installed in the air duct system. On request, the diffuser can be supplied with internal drilled steel sheet equalizer . Regolazione La regolazione del diffusore RBI, ovvero la rotazione del cilindro interno, puo essere effettuata manualmente o tramite un servomotore posizionato al di fuori della piastra superiore del diffusore. La tipologia di comando richiesta deve essere specifi-cata in fase di ordine, poiche modifiche tardive possono essere effettuate solo dal produttore. Adjustment The adjustment of RBI diffusers, i.e. the rotation of the inside cylinder, can be performed manually or with an electrical servo motor placed outside the upper plate. You must specify whether you require manual or servo-motor adjustment at the time of ordering. Any subsequent modifications can only be done by the manufacturer. Montaggio I diffusori RBI devono essere appesi. Se la condotta dell'aria e sufficientemente robusta e fissata saldamente, quelli di taglia piu piccola (fino a 315), possono essere fissati al canale con viti o rivetti. Nel caso di taglie superiori (da 400 in su) e consigliabi-le utilizzare 3 punti di fissaggio predisposti per bulloni M8. Fitting The RBI diffusers must be hung. The smaller sizes (up to 315) can be fixed to the air duct with self-tapping screws or with pop rivets, if the duct is strong enough and fixed securely.
