Autonomous mobile robot AGVS

Product catalog summary
Overview
AGVS is an indoor mobile robot developed by Robotnik for intrahospital transport, capable of carrying loads up to 500Kg. It is an autonomous electric robot with motorwheel traction, designed to navigate hospital environments efficiently.

Design and Specifications
The robot features a low height suitable for passing under hospital trolleys. Its chassis is made of steel and aluminum, housing the batteries, motors, and transmission. It includes a mechanical brake system activated when a person enters an unsafe zone, with a laser sensor that adjusts its range based on payload and speed.

Navigation and Localization
AGVS uses a magnetic sensor to detect floor landmarks, aiding in position correction and odometry estimation. It also employs two rangefinders for SLAM algorithm processing.

Applications
The robot is designed for transporting various hospital trolleys, including storage, food, pharmacy, laundry, and waste.

Autonomous mobile robot AGVS-1

AGVS AGVS is an indoor mobile robot developed for intrahospital transport. The robot is able to carry up to 500Kg load. Robotnik AGVS mobile robot platform is an AGVS is designed to transport trolleys inside hospital buildings: autonomous electric robot with motorwheel traction and controlled direction and traction. The robot has a low height, adequate to pass under hospital trolleys (roller container). The chassis, manufactured of steel and aluminium, -Storage -Food -Pharmacy -Laundry -Waste contains the batteries, the motors and the transmission as well as an electrical axis able to hold 500Kg payload. The robot uses a magnetic sensor (antenna) to find magnetic landmarks on the floor. Those The robot is equipped with a mechanical brake magnets provide information about posible system that actuates in case a person enters in deviations of the robot position, and are used an unsafety zone. This laser sensor can adjust to update the robot odometry estimation. The its range depending on the payload and speed conditions. AGVS robot mounts also 2 rangefinders and is able to process this information for conventional SLAM algorithms. The kinematic configuration allows to follow curves in an optimal way. The robot moves always describing a circle with radius determined by the direction axis. When this angle is zero the robot follows a straight line.
