RC HAMMERS CODES Wear Sleeve All Robit RC hammers have a coating on the bottom of the Wear Sleeve. This protects the Wear Sleeve from premature wear created by the turbulence of the outside return cuttings. Sample Tube With the Sample Tube there are two options, Venturi and Non Venturi. Venturi Sample Tubes have small holes drilled towards the bottom end. This allows a small amount of air to bleed off into the tube to help lift the returning sample. Non Venturi Sample Tubes are straight tubes with no additional drilled holes.

Bit Retention The Bit Retention system can be described as a bit catching system. If the drill bit were to break, the Chuck Sleeve will retain the bit head so it will not be lost down the hole. This allows the driller to pull the drillstring out of the ground, replace the broken bit and continue drilling the hole.
