SP-200 Spray PaverTM

Product catalog summary
Overview
The document discusses the use of the Shuttle Buggy® material transfer vehicle in conjunction with the SP-200 Spray PaverTM, highlighting its ability to produce smooth, segregation-free pavements efficiently. The combination allows for continuous paving, minimizing traffic disruption and enhancing pavement quality.

Versatility
The SP-200 Spray PaverTM is an American-made machine suitable for NovaChip® and thin-lift applications, as well as conventional paving. It is effective for both high-volume roadways and neighborhood streets, allowing traffic to resume quickly after application.

Functionality
The Spray Paver integrates spraying and laydown processes, ensuring a strong bond between layers. It features a computer-controlled spray bar with self-cleaning valves and a large 2,100-gallon tack tank, enabling high-speed operation and reducing refill stops.

Productivity
The system maintains the tack at the correct temperature using a hot oil system. The SP-200, when used with the Shuttle Buggy, eliminates thermal segregation and enhances pavement smoothness. The combination allows for non-stop paving, increasing efficiency.

Versatility An American Thin-Lift Paving Solution: The SP-200 Spray PaverTM Finally, you can choose an American-made machine that can be used for NovaChip® and thin-lift applications, or as a conventional paver! NovaChip or ultrathin HMAC wearing course applications can be used on asphalt or concrete pavements as a preventive maintenance or surface rehabilitation treatment. An important advantage of thin overlays is the speed in which they are applied and the resulting minimal traffic disruption. And, since there is no tack placed in front of the paving train, traffic can move freely in front...

Productivity Liquid tack is continuously circulated through the system. A 500,000 btu heater heats a hot oil system, which keeps the tack at the proper temperature. Valves provide instant, uniform spray when they open and won’t clog. Even after cooling, the internal poppet valve design does not require manual cleaning. The 10-foot SP-200 is used with a Roadtec Eagle 10 screed for a maximum paving width of 19’-6”. Spray bars extend as needed. When the paver is to be used conventionally, the spray mechanism can be turned off. Spray Paver and Shuttle Buggy® MTV Combo for Productivity and Quality...
