Overview: The SB-1500D Shuttle Buggy® is a material transfer vehicle designed for efficient asphalt handling. It features a low weight and narrow transport width, capable of storing up to 15 tons (13.6 MT) of asphalt mix, which helps reduce trucking costs. The vehicle includes an end-dump hopper or an optional windrow pickup head and a patented antisegregation auger for remixing materials.

Engine Specifications: The vehicle is powered by a Caterpillar® C9-300 HP, Tier III, 6-cylinder diesel engine, delivering 300 HP (224 kW) at 2,200 rpm. It includes essential instrumentation such as a tach/hour meter, oil pressure, voltage, and an emergency shutdown system, with easy access to the oil cooler/radiator.

Operator's Station: The SB-1500D offers operator positions on both sides with a swiveling control console for flexible operation. It has an inside turning radius of 26’6" (8.1 m).

Ground Drive: The vehicle features an all-hydrostatic drive for variable speed control with two speed ranges, allowing electric shift-on-the-go between high and low speeds. The maximum working speed is 2.8 mph (4.5 kph), and the travel speed is 11.4 mph (18.4 kph).

Tires: Equipped with large, high-flotation tires measuring 18:00 x 25" (45.7 m x 635 mm).
