Overview: The RP-175 is a compact, 8-foot wide rubber-track asphalt
paver designed for various sub-grades and paving applications. It features full counter-rotate ability and track flotation for maneuverability in tight areas without losing traction or pushing power. The dual operator stations provide excellent visibility, and the paver includes Roadtec's anti-segregation design.
Engine Specifications: The paver is powered by a CAT® 6.6 L, 6-cylinder, 174 HP diesel engine operating at 2,200 rpm, compliant with ACERT Tier III standards.
Construction: The frame is constructed with a 1/2” thick continuous-side-sheet and a 4” thick front cross frame member, featuring pivoting push rollers.
Electrical System: It includes two 4D batteries, a 12 Volt starting system with a master disconnect switch, a 115 Amp alternator, and electric-over-hydraulic solenoids with manual override.
Cooling System: The cooling system features a variable-speed, hydraulically driven fan.
Propel System: The system uses variable-displacement hydraulic pumps driving two-speed hydraulic motors in planetary final drives, with paving speeds up to 200 fpm and travel speeds up to 7 mph.
Undercarriage: The friction drive undercarriage includes 14” wide steel-reinforced rubber tracks with an automatic hydraulic track tension system.
Operator Stations: Features include Comfort DriveTM operator stations with adjustable seats, mechanical dual stick travel control, and a fume extraction system.
Material Handling System: The system includes a 10-ton hopper with hydraulically movable wings, electric flow gates, and independently driven variable-speed
feeder conveyors.
Service Capacities: Fuel capacity is 95 gallons, cooling system 5 gallons, and hydraulic system tank 49 gallons.
