One particularly impressive example of this is the Lefdal Mine Datacenter (LMD) -one of the world’s largest data centres, which is currently being built in a decommissioned mine on the west coast of Norway. The ambitious goal is to make LMD the number one in Europe with peak values in terms of cost efficiency, security, flexibility and sustainability.
