Specifications General description The pit stored vehicle restraint is a recessed system designed to secure a semi-trailer to a loading dock by engaging the trailer’s rear impact guard (RIG) with a large, vertical barrier. The barrier mechanism is operated from a control panel mounted inside the building. Operation After the truck is backed into the dock, the dock attendant pushes the lock button on the control panel, which extends and raises the barrier to secure the trailer to the dock.
