Carefully insert the microphone all the way into the coupler. Then simply turn the power on to apply a constant sound pressure level to the diaphragm of the microphone. The 1/2 and 1/4 inch microphones can be used after the supplied adaptor is installed in the coupler. Usage example (NL series) NC-72A is designed to generate sound that has a sound pressure level of 114 dB(nominal) at 101.325 kPa of atmospheric pressure.
