The grooves are arranged axially on the output side and radially on the input side, which means that torque can be transmitted backlash free in both directions of rotation. When the preset limit torque has been reached, the groove-ring is displaced. Due to the unsymetrical division of the grooves, re-engagement is effected synchronously after 360°, as soon as the overload has been eliminated.
