Product catalog summary
Clamping Principle
The document describes the clamping principle using a Taper Sleeve, which is pulled against the seating body to center and align the component flush against the backstop.

Taper Sleeve Flange Chucks HKFF Features
  • Clamping diameters range from 15 mm to 206 mm.
  • High true running accuracy of ≤ 0.01 mm.
  • Permissible component tolerance up to IT13.
  • Extended insertion depth with pull-back against external or internal backstop.
  • Optional hand clamping available.
  • Rubberized slots in the Taper Sleeve prevent ingress of foreign objects.

Configuration
The Taper Sleeve Flange Chuck comprises a draw plate, seating body, and Taper Sleeve. It can be optionally equipped with a threaded bore for hand clamping. The chuck is attached to the machine via the seating body, and the clamping fixture is actuated by the draw plate connected to the machine's power actuating unit.

Technical Specifications
The document provides detailed specifications for various HKFF models, including clamping diameters, permissible component tolerances, and maximum actuating forces. It also includes a table with dimensions and technical parameters for each model.

Ordering Information
To order, specify the size of the Clamping Fixture and the clamping diameter of the component, including component tolerance. An example is provided for clarity.

Additional Notes
Details on clamping stroke, backstop surface, and centering diameter for customer-installed backstop rings are included. The document also notes the maximum transmissible torque and actuating force for different sizes.
