Drilling Fluids Centrifuge Hand Driven A centrifuge mechanically subjects fluids to increased “G forces” that accelerate the settling rate of particles within the fluid. This procedure separates particles from fluids into heavy-coarse and light-fine fractions and is dependent upon separation by particle size and specific gravity. This hand driven centrifuge is perfect for field use. The simple compact design eliminates complicated operation and assures years of dependable service. Two-place centrifuge head includes metal shields for holding 10cc tubes. Hand Driven – Max Speed is 1800 RPM. The centrifuge body is constructed of lightweight aluminum alloy with an integral clamp for fixing to a table. Removable pin connections for head and crank handle make storage easy.
