Equivalent Conicity Calculation Program. User manual

Product catalog summary
Introduction
Equivalent Conicity is a parameter used to analyze the dynamic interaction between railway vehicles and tracks, focusing on the contact behavior between wheels and rails on straight and large radius track sections.

Calculated Parameters
The program calculates several parameters including contact points position, rolling radiuses difference, contact angles, and equivalent conicity, following the EN 15302 standard.

System Requirements, Installation, and Activation
Hardware and Software Requirements: The program requires Windows XP or later.
Installation: The program can be installed via a standalone setup package or through an online setup that downloads the latest version. Users must run the setup file as an administrator.
Activation: After installation, users must complete a Product Activation form with customer information and an activation key.

Data Input
The program uses wheel and rail profiles as input data, which must be formatted in specific CSV files. Data can be sourced from laser profilometers or other compatible files.

Working with the Program
Upon starting the program, users can view wheel and rail profiles. Preparations for calculations involve setting parameters for the wheel set and track, and specifying input data files. Calculations include determining equivalent conicity, rolling radius differences, and contact points and angles.

Protocols
Results can be saved as PDFs or printed. Protocols include detailed calculation results.

Technical Support
Support is available via email and Skype. Users should provide the program version and a description of the issue when seeking assistance.
