PRODUCT DATA SHEET EN 358:1999 16mm hawser laid nylon rope High tensile steel alloy Fully adjustable Anti abrasion wear sleeve The RGP1 is a pole strap/work-positioning device, designed to be clipped to the side dees of a harness or work-positioning belt. The adjuster is easy to use under tension or not. The 16mm hard lay rope is additionally protected by a wear sleeve in the work area to offer some protection against abrasion and extend the life of the product. The 2m length of the RGP1 allows the user enough freedom of movement, without being exposed to a fall. The RGP1 can be used for pole climbing but excels when used for mast climbing and maintenance and general work on open steel structures. Once the structure is climbed, the user can attach the RGP1, adjusting it to the required length. The operative can then perform tasks whilst in a safe position. This device is normally used in conjunction with an RGH4 or RGH11, which allows for the attachment of additional fall arrest equipment.
