Technical Details
Gloss measurement is based on comparing reflected light intensity from a test surface with a standard surface. The angle of measurement depends on the surface type. The device uses long-life tungsten halogen lamps and features durability, stability, and repeatability through solid optical block arrangement and patented auto-stabilisation circuitry.

Instruments conform to standards such as DIN 67530, ISO 2813, and ASTMD523. Dual and triple angle instruments are suitable for various applications.
