Working Principle
Rotary vane pumps consist of a cylindrical housing with an eccentrically positioned rotor and multiple free-moving vanes. As the rotor turns, centrifugal force pushes the vanes against the cylindrical wall, creating a chamber whose volume changes with rotation. This mechanism allows air to enter through the inlet port, creating a vacuum, and compresses the air as it moves towards the outlet port, generating pressure.

Types of Pumps

Dry-Running Pumps: Models like VRT, DRT, DVT are single-stage, dry-cooled, and direct-driven, suitable for continuous operation. Smaller models (408-440) include an integral motor, while larger models (3060-3250) are available with or without a motor. They can reach up to 21.8 psig and a maximum vacuum of 25.5” HgV.
Oil-Lubricated Pumps: RX-Series offers deeper vacuum capabilities up to 29.9” HgV and is available with or without a motor.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW REPUBLIC ROTARY VANE PUMPS are available as dry-running or oil-lubricated. The VRT, DRT, DVT are single stage, dry-cooled and direct driven for continuous operation.
