The TP7M is high accuracy probe specifically designed to maintain a high level of accuracy and reliability across a wide spectrum of applications. For best performance, the guidelines given should be followed: Do not: • use more than 50 mm of M3 or M2 styli, or accessories • use M2 styli within 30 mm of the probe mounting face or probe axis • use the M4 / M2 (SA5) adaptor, use the M4 / M3 and the M3 / M2 adaptors instead • do not use stylus knuckle joints Do: • use the longest possible M4 stylus extensions or M4 / M3 adaptor extensions to achieve a required stylus length • follow the guidelines...
