ADVALITE™ VINYL HYBRIDS Hot Melt Prepreg Resins DESCRIPTION: ADVALITE™ VINYL HYBRIDS Hot Melt Prepreg Resins are 100% solids, monomer free, flexible vinyl hybrid resins with excellent catalyzed stability and rapid cure at elevated temperature. It can be used to produce tough hot melt prepregs. APPLICATION: ADVALITE™ VINYL HYBRIDS Hot Melt Prepreg resins are specifically designed to produce low tack, zero VOC hot melt prepregs. • Maintains mechanical properties at elevated operating temperatures • Excellent room temperature catalyzed stability • Does not require refrigerated storage • Rapid cure at elevated temperature • Reduction in cure cycles and corresponding increase in productivity and reduction in operating costs • Excellent wet out and compatibility with fiberglass • Compatible with all forms of fiberglass reinforcements CAST RESIN PROPERTIES Properties Tensile Elongation, % Heat Distortion Temperature, °C Water Absorption (24 hours @ RT), % The information herein is to help customers determine whether our products are suitable for their applications.
