The IOPac® Handheld Pachymeter by Reichert, Inc. is a portable device designed for precise corneal thickness measurements, aiding in glaucoma risk analysis. It utilizes 20 MHz ultrasound probes and Palm® powered technology, making it a preferred choice for ophthalmic professionals.
Specifications
The device is available in two models: IOPac® Advanced and IOPac® Standard. Both models feature a measurement range of 300-1000 µm, accuracy of ± 5 µm, and precision of ± 1 µm. They weigh 7 oz. (200 g) and operate at an ultrasound frequency of 20 MHz. Both models are equipped with rechargeable lithium batteries and offer one-touch measurement and automatic averaging of readings.
Features
The IOPac® Advanced model includes additional features such as a glaucoma risk calculator, infrared printing, automatic IOP correction, thickness mapping capability, and a 1000 patient data storage capacity. It also supports desktop database management software.
Usability
The device is designed for ease of use with its pocket-sized mobility, intuitive operation, and bright, easy-to-read screen. It offers both straight and 45° angled probe options and is compatible with ICD-9 and Wills Eye Manual Palm Software.

The IOPac® Advanced allows for quick data export via infrared or USB, facilitating data archiving and printing for medical records or insurance purposes.
