Safety Tag Management System

Safety Tag Management System

Product catalog summary
Introduction
The document provides instructions for the operation and use of a Safety Management System device, specifically a Tag Holder with Slide, which aids in compliance with Health & Safety Legislation and maintains accurate maintenance records. All safety symbols on tags/labels comply with relevant EC directives.
Insertion of Tags
Two tags can be displayed simultaneously, one on each side. A Safety Message Tag (e.g., "Safe to use/Do not use") should be inserted in the front section, always displaying a double message. A Maintenance Record Tag should be completed with a permanent marker and inserted on the reverse side. The cover can be slid to conceal one message, and a security seal can be attached for tamper-evidence.
Attaching the Holder
The Tag Holder can be attached to equipment using plastic ties or screw fixing. Ensure easy access to the reverse slide for reading the Maintenance Record Tag. For permanent fixing, remove the slider, insert the Maintenance Record Tag, and secure with security seals.
Applying Warning Labels
Complete a Warning Label with a permanent marker and apply it to the recessed area on the cover slider. Move the slider to hide the "Safe to use" message and attach a security seal. Self-adhesive labels, such as company logos, barcodes, or hazardous substance warnings, can be applied to Maintenance Record Tags.
Using Tag Holder Without Slider
If permanently fixing the holder using screw fixings, remove the slider and attach the holder to the surface. Insert the appropriate Maintenance Record Tags, noting that this method is not suitable for Safety Message Tags.
