Product catalog summary
Product Overview
The document provides detailed instructions for the Power Protection Seal, a safety device designed to fit most standard 13 amp sockets. It is crucial to verify compatibility with your specific socket before use.

Suitability
The seal is not suitable for outdoor use. Ensure a minimum 2.0mm gap between Edge A and the switch inside edge. For twin sockets, ensure adequate spacing between switches. If the socket does not meet these requirements, replacement is necessary.

Preparation
Ensure the socket surface is clean, grease-free, and dry before installation.

Marking Out
1. Insert the plug into the back plate apertures to locate it on the socket.
2. Ensure a 2.0mm gap between Edge A and the switch inside edge.
3. Mark lines along Edges A and B on the socket.

Attaching Back Plate to Socket
1. Remove the adhesive backing from the back plate.
2. Align Edges A and B with the guide lines on the socket.
3. Pivot the back plate until it attaches securely, ensuring apertures align with the socket.
4. Press firmly and allow 30 minutes for the adhesive to cure before engaging the plug and cover.

Attaching Plug Cover to Back Plate
1. Ensure the back plate is secure.
2. Insert the plug and press it flush against the back plate.
3. Fit the electric cable into the designated slot at the cover's bottom.
4. Attach the plug cover by inserting its feet into the back plate's slots.
5. Pivot the cover until the spring catch clicks into place.

Breaking the Seal
1. Pull the ring pull away from the socket face to apply pressure.
2. The seal will break under sufficient pressure, leaving the back plate as evidence of tampering or for replacement.
