Procedure:
1. Initial Setup: Extend the locking handle to the fully open position until it clicks, setting the internal mechanism to the maximum opening diameter.
2. Cable Insertion: Feed the cable through the lockout device in preparation for securing it.
3. Intermediate Positioning: Move the locking handle to the intermediate position, allowing the cable to be pulled to the desired length with some tension.
4. Final Locking: Pull the cable to the desired length and place the locking handle in the fully locked position. Once locked, the cable cannot be removed. Insert a padlock shackle into any of the four holes to prevent the handle from being opened, securing the cable in place.

The handle will "click" and be held in this position. This will set the internal locking mechanism to the maximum opening diameter to accommodate the range of cable diameters. Feed the cable through the lockout in preparation for the locking the cable into position After the cable is fed into the locking device, place the locking handle into the intermediate position as shown. This will enable the cable to be pulled (against some tension) into the desired length Pull the cable against some tension into the desired length as shown. Place the locking handle into the fully locked position as shown. The cable cannot be removed from the locking device once the locking handle is in this position. Placement of the padlock shackle into any one of the four holes will prevent the locking handle from being opened. The cable is now locked into position.
