Product catalog summary
Specifications:
The document provides specifications for the 26F Sanitary Valve, detailing various valve sizes, lengths, body outer diameters, working pressures, and weights. The sizes range from 1/2" to 3", with working pressures of 50 to 75 PSI and weights from 5 to 32 lbs.

Design and Features:
The 26F Sanitary Valve features a unique one-piece sleeve design with Tri-Clover Tri-Clamps® and an integral O-ring seal molded onto the sleeve ends. This design ensures a straight-through port, eliminating crevices and dead spots to reduce bacterial growth. The valve's only wetted part is a flexible food-grade rubber sleeve.

Operation:
The valve operates through a pinching action achieved by air or hydraulic pressure applied to the sleeve. The valve body serves as a built-in actuator, eliminating the need for additional pneumatic, hydraulic, or electric actuators. Pressure within the annular space between the housing and sleeve can throttle or close the valve.

Control and Maintenance:
Control is possible with a booster or proportional relay. The sleeve's flexibility allows the valve to close tightly around entrapped solids, preventing blockages. The valve self-cleans with each actuation, and there are no seats or packing to replace, nor dead spots to collect food particles.

Advantages:
When open, the valve functions like a straight pipe, offering a significant advantage over weir-style diaphragm valves. It is simple, automatic, cost-effective, and maintenance-free.

Materials of Construction:
The valve body and end connections are made of 316 Stainless Steel, with standard Tri-Clover "Tri-Clamp®" fittings. The sleeve material options include FDA-approved White Chlorobutyl, Neoprene, Buna-N, Viton, and EPDM.

26F-1

Series 26F Sanitary Pinch Valve Ǡ Simple, automatic valve design The 26F Sanitary Valve’s unique one-piece sleeve design, with Tri-Clover Tri-Clamps®, incorporates an integral O-ring seal molded onto the sleeve ends. The design makes this sanitary valve a straight through port design, eliminating crevices and dead spots, in order to reduce the possibility of bacteria. The key to this valve is in the flexible food grade rubber sleeve—the valve’s only wetted part. Ǡ Body acts as built-in actuator. Ǡ No crevices or "dead spots" for food particle build-up Ǡ Full port FDA approved elastomer sleeve Ǡ Cost-effective, maintenance-free Actuation of the valve, the pinching action, is accomplished by air or hydraulic pressure placed upon the sleeve. The valve body acts as a built-in actuator, eliminating costly pneumatic, hydraulic or electric actuators. Adding pressure within the annular space between the housing and sleeve can throttle or close the valve. Control can be accomplished with a booster or proportional relay. The sleeve’s flexibility allows the valve to close “drop-tight” around entrapped solids, eliminating “hang ups”. The valve self-cleans each time it is actuated. With the 26F Sanitary Valve there are no seats or packing to replace, or dead spots to collect food particles. When the valve is open, it is like a straight piece of pipe in the line, a significant advantage over weir style diaphragm valves.
