Main Performances
The PME Evolution slipring features an aluminium housing with insulating thermoplastic bands. It is designed for vertical axis positioning and is mounted on a base plate using two M10 screws. Connections are made via rings wired with a 2-meter long cable, and cable entry is facilitated through single-pole wires connected to the rings and pipe unions M32 to the brush-holders. The brushes are available in copper-graphite with current ratings of 20 A, 50 A, and 100 A. The slipring can be configured with 20 to 60 rings at 20 A, with mixed executions of 20/50/100 A.

The product complies with CEI-EN 60947-1 and CEI-EN 60529 standards, as well as directives 2014/35/UE, 2014/30/UE, and 2006/42/CE. It carries the CE marking.

Accessories
Optional accessories include Mercotac, Absolute Encoder, Micro-switches application, and one passage for air. Mixed executions with 100 A, 50 A, and 20 A, as well as types with appropriate rings for signals, are available on demand.

Functional Features
The slipring operates at a nominal voltage of 660 V AC/DC and nominal currents of 20 A, 50 A, and 100 A. It has a protection degree of IP65 and a maximum rotating speed of 30 revolutions per minute. The test voltage is 2.5 kV, and it operates within a temperature range of -20 °C to +60 °C.

Installation and Wiring
Installation must be performed by qualified personnel following safety standards. Power should be turned off before wiring, and connections should comply with the equipment's wiring scheme. The base plate uses fork fastons with an interaxis of 260 mm and M10 screws. Cables are connected through lateral pipe unions, with specified torque for brush terminals. Ensure wires do not interfere with moving parts, and check equipotential and ground connections.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance is required to keep the slipring in optimal condition. Maintenance should be performed by qualified personnel using original spare parts. Key steps include disconnecting from the power source, checking brushes for wear, removing copper-graphite dust, and ensuring cable tightness and gasket condition. The guarantee does not cover modified or tampered equipment.
