SOLID CORE For the manufacture of our wheel centres, we process more than 9,000 tonnes of cast iron and steel from European foundries every year in our state-of-the-art mechanical production at more than 30 turning and machining centres. We purchase the wheel centres as cast exclusively from certified producers using automated moulding systems. Thanks to the high quality of the raw parts provided, we can reduce machining to a minimum and ensure a high level of concentricity. Standard wheel materials All of our polyurethande elastomers out of VULKOLLAN®* and Polyurethan are processed in a hot-casting process. In contrast to cold-cast systems, these are of a higher quality and must undergo subsequent heat treatment known as curing.
