Rae I Y 1 1 E M £ RAEShare Service The RAEShare service package leverages the power of the AreaConnect 500 server to aggregate sensor data from AreaRAE wireless networks and allows access to critical information in real time from any location in the world. Because RAEShare makes this data truly portable, multiple viewers can simultaneously see and share current as well as historical data via a standard web browser on any computer. RAEShare removes all setup and configuration complexities, as all servers are professionally hosted and maintained by RAE Systems. In addition to providing online access to sensor data, the RAEShare service can be configured to send alert notifications to end users in remote locations so that they are no longer required to continuously monitor the readings at the host controller computer. Alerts can be sent in a variety of formats including emails, SMS text messages, HTTP posts, FTP, and SNMP traps. Multiple threshold values can be set for each sensor in each monitor, so when sensor values reach a predefined threshold, remote users are notified. The RAEShare delivers life-critical information in seconds and enables real-time decision making for emergency response, trend analysis for long-term studies, and corporate-level safety monitoring of remote facilities.
