
The KRX2 is a UHF FM receiver and rolling code decoder/interface module for secure wireless remote control and keyless security systems, compatible with KTX2 and KFX2 products.
Key pins include:
Ensure supply voltage does not exceed 5.5V. Connect with a mode switch and learn button for experiments.
Initiate a 5-second learning window by pressing the Learn button. The function code is stored and indicated by the Learn LED.
Learned transmitters activate outputs S0 – S3, supporting 10ms single-shot and momentary modes.
Hold the Learn button for over 5 seconds to clear all transmitters. Individual removal is not possible.
Uses Manchester encoding with a 28-bit serial number and 32-bit encrypted hop-code for security.
Provides a 60dB range indication of signal strength for link quality assessment.
Supply voltage: 4.5V to 5.25V; RF sensitivity: -114 dBm.
Ensure good RF layout practice with direct ground returns and short connections.
Recommended antennas: Helical, Loop, and Whip, each with specific performance characteristics.
Avoid metal proximity; ideal placement is protruding from the product top.
