The KFX2 is a UHF code hopping 5-button keyfob transmitter designed for use with KDEC or KRX-416-000-DIL decoder ICs, providing a remote control link over 100 meters. The LED lights up during transmission, which can last up to 30 seconds. Battery voltage is monitored, and a low battery indication is given when voltage drops to 4V +/- 5%.
The KFX2 uses two CR1220 lithium button cells, stacked with the negative terminal facing down. Reverse polarity protection is included. To replace the battery, use a flat-headed screwdriver to open the case carefully, then align and snap the case back together.
The product complies with the R&TTE Directive and is not recommended for life-critical applications due to potential radio interference. Radiometrix Ltd reserves the right to make changes without notice and does not assume liability for application use.
