Custom Premier Labeling System - 24/7 Operation This custom Premier labeling system applies 3 labels (front/back and top) to various sizes of tapered plastic food containers. This system is congured for redundant labeling and includes six applicators for a zero-downtime operation. Products are separated and paced into the system by a custom feedscrew assembly. A Q41 air blow applicator applies a label to the top of each container. The product is then captured by a top hold down assembly. This keeps the top label oriented to the side labels. A powered impresser completes the label wipe down. Labeled products are then side transferred off the system for further customerfurnished product handling. The controls have easy-to-navigate menus that store different products by name or part number. Each product size and label size is stored for repeatable changeovers. With the zero-downtime option, the system will automatically switch to the secondary applicator when an “end of web” or “broken web” condition is experienced. Pneumatic retractable mounts on all applicators allow the operator to rethread labels without interfering with product ow. Once the labels are changed, the pneumatic applicator support locks into the correct labeling position and lets the PLC know it is ready.
