WHAT IS LEV? LEV (or Local Exhaust Ventilation) systems are designed to prevent workers inhaling hazardous dust and fumes. To ensure the systems are functioning correctly they need regular testing by a qualified person. Purex systems extract the dust and fumes from the process and filter hazardous material before returning clean, purified air to the workplace.
