Pryor offers both a standalone (LCD) and a networked (USB) version of this machine, to facilitate process integration where desired. The Markmate boasts a multilingual user interface, including English, French, German, Spanish, Swedish, Finnish, Italian, Cyrillic and Czech, allowing ease and flexibility of use across any multicultural workforce. The system provides many different fonts and character sizes, along with arc marking and variable force control providing optimum depth of engraving on various materials. The excellent flexibility and control over the output has resulted in this technology becoming well established across the aerospace industry where precision and low stress are key factors when identifying critical components. Dot marking is widely recognised for applying the lowest stress levels, and the Markmate greatly enhances this advantage through it's variable force control. It is also driven by a lead screw marking head that guarantees unmatched precision. The dot marker is often used to create Data Matrix codes in the aerospace industry, but can also be used to create serial numbers, logo and decorative marking, certification marking and many more design outputs. The designs are extremely flexible and the range of shapes and dimensions of components that can be marked is extremely broad, too. The machine comes with numerous fixturing options for different shaped surfaces, it has an easily adjustable height position, and the 100mm x 75mm marking area allows for multi-component marking, increasing the speed of operations. The Markmate can be run to medium output or non-stop production outputs. The design layouts are easily programmable and the Markmate has an extremely large storage capacity, whether you choose the standalone LCD or the networked USB version. The electrics are separate to the machine in both versions as Pryor provides only uncompromising build quality, suitable for the toughest workshop conditions. Keeping the electrics separate ensures their integrity and a long life span, which would be compromised if they were mounted on a machine that exerts enough force to create a mark. The Markmate does not require air supply as it is powered by electromagnetic pin technology. However, Pryor also offers a Pneumatic High Amplitude version and a Pneumatic High Frequency version of the product. The High Amplitude version is ideal if you are marking uneven surfaces up to 12mm or if you are seeking a deeper marking depth.
