This DESK desktop device can support a multitude of 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz transponder technologies. It is available as either a complete ready-to-connect desktop device in a slim black or white housing (DESKxx) or as pcb only without housing for direct integration in any application (DESK/PCB-xx). Both versions come complete with configuration software to set the DESK as either a keyboard emulation or as virtual COM-port. The same software also allows you to compile your own personal script to configure the card reader precisely to your requirements. Therefore, these systems are ideally suited for a wide variety of applications, particularly access control, time clock and POS system.
