The HOGEN S Series are on-site hydrogen generators housed in integrated, automated, site-ready enclosures. They feature Load Following operation, which automatically adjusts output to match demand.

Electrolyte
The system uses a Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) that is caustic-free.

Hydrogen Production
Production rates vary by model: S10 produces 0.265 Nm3/hr, S20 produces 0.53 Nm3/hr, and S40 produces 1.05 Nm3/hr. The purity of hydrogen is 99.9995% with minimal impurities. Delivery pressure is nominally 13.8 barg (200 PSIG).

DI Water Requirement
Water consumption rates are 0.235 L/hr for S10, 0.47 L/hr for S20, and 0.94 L/hr for S40. The required water quality is ASTM Type II Deionized Water, with Type I preferred.

Heat Load and Coolant Requirement
The systems are air-cooled with maximum heat loads of 1.1 kW for S10, 2.2 kW for S20, and 4.3 kW for S40.

Electrical Specifications
Recommended breaker ratings are 4 kVA for S10, 8 kVA for S20, and 12 kVA for S40. Electrical input is 205 to 240 VAC, single phase, 50 or 60 Hz.

Interface Connections
Includes various ports for H2 product, venting, DI water, and drainage. Communication is via RS 232 and Ethernet.

Control Systems
Features include fully automated operation, emergency stop, H2 leak detection, and remote alarm capabilities.

Enclosure Characteristics
Dimensions are 31” x 38” x 42” with a weight of 475 lbs. The enclosure is rated IP22.

Environmental Considerations
Designed for indoor use in non-hazardous environments with ambient temperatures from 5°C to 40°C.

Safety and Regulatory Conformity
Complies with NFPA 69 and EN 1127-1 standards. Approved by cTUVus, CE, and NYFD.
