Introduction
Välinge Flooring, part of Välinge Innovation AB, required ergonomic solutions to support employees with heavy and repetitive lifting tasks in restricted spaces. The aim was to reduce physical strain and the risk of injuries.

Challenge
The primary challenge was to develop a compact lifting tool that could perform multiple tasks, including pallet unloading and machine component dismounting, within limited space.

Solution
Pronomic designed a customised, three-in-one trolley system. This included a standard Squeeze & Turn trolley for handling heavy paint buckets and a specialised tool for paint brush dismounting and pallet unloading. The modular design allowed for easy mounting and use of the tool, enhancing operational efficiency.

Benefits
The solution eliminated manual handling risks, reduced the need for two-person tasks to a single operator, and optimized space usage. This resulted in time and labor savings, improving overall workplace safety and efficiency.
